Mr Guan Zhisheng
Occupation: Associate Professor of Economics, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China

Mr Guan was born in Guangzhou. He graduated from Sun Yat-sen Univeristy (1982 Bachelor and 1994 M.A. in Economics). After graduation, he has become a lecturer in his Department. He visited the Chinese University of Hong Kong (1984), Tilburg University in Holland (1997) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology for vocational study. Mr Guan is active in researches of Regional Economics, Guangdong Economy, Economics of China's SEZs. This Spring, he also engaged in study of the impacts cased by SARS, together with faculties of Lingnan College.
