Survey on Selected Healthcare Policy Issues

The Healthcare Policy Forum was formed in February 2006. The Forum comprises members of the Legislative Council, Hong Kong Democratic Foundation, Power for Democracy and the Society for Community Organization, academics as well as individual members of civil society.

In August 2007, the Forum commissioned the Public Governance Programme of Lingnan University to conduct a territory-wide telephone survey on selected healthcare policy issues. The objective of the survey is to collect information on:
- the public's preparation to cope with healthcare expenditures
- the public's healthcare cost burdens and worries
- the public's views on and patterns of healthcare use
- the public's views on public healthcare financing
- the public's views on establishing a territory-wide electronic medical records system

醫療政策論壇
醫療政策問題調查

「醫療政策論壇」於二零零六年二月成立。論壇由立法會議員、香港民主促進會、民主動力和香港社區組織協會成員、學者及個別社會人士所組成。

「論壇」於二零零七年八月委託嶺南大學公共管治研究部進行一項有關醫療政策問題的全港性調查研究。研究目的包括：
 - 了解公眾為應付醫療開支而作出的準備
 - 了解公眾的醫療負擔和憂慮
 - 了解公眾使用醫療服務的模式和意見
 - 了解公眾對公共醫療融資的意見
 - 了解公眾對建立全港性電子病歷系統的意見
