WORKING EXPERIENCE:

Alan started his working career as an account executive in 1977 with McCann Erickson, an international advertising agency in Hong Kong. He rose quickly through the ranks in the advertising industry and in 1985 he was appointed general manager of Ogilvy & Mather Direct in Singapore where he built the second direct response advertising agency for the Ogilvy & Mather network of offices in Asia. Alan later returned to Hong Kong and worked as the general manager of Ball Direct Marketing and the Hong Kong and Taiwan marketing director of a leading direct marketing company. Alan started a management software product and management training company in 1994 and today, he is the director and general manager of Asia Pacific Intellectual Capital Centre, a not-for-profit company registered in Hong Kong (www.apicc.asia).
